This rating is based on independent tests by SGS Laboratories, which have shown the Studio Pro Swiss ball to be burst-resistant whilst under a load of 750kg, i.e. The ball did not explode when punctured, which could cause the user to crash to the floor, and able to withstand a static load in excess of 1,700kg without failure.
