About Us
A love of gymnastics was the inspiration for Natalia Ilienko-Jarvis and Gary Jarvis to found NG Sportswear International.
Natalia has devoted a lifetime to gymnastics. Talent spotted in her home town in the Soviet Union at an early age. She became a member of the Soviet National Artistic Gymnastics Squad for 6 years, winning many titles, which culminated in a World floor Champion’s title in 1981 then becoming twice World Champion as part of the soviet team that won the Gold Medal in 1981 and 1983. Moving to the UK in 1992 Natalia joined the coaching team at Heathrow Gymnastics club as a coach and choreographer. Natalia started competing in Aerobic Gymnastics in 1997 and was twice British Senior Champion in 1997 and 1998.
Throughout her career Natalia has continued to coach both artistic as well as aerobic gymnastics, and she was proud to have been one of the coaches to Olympian Becky Wing, member of the GB Beijing Olympic Team along with Nicole Hibbert member of the 2010 European team that won silver, the first time in history Great Britain has ever won a European team medal in Artistic gymnastics.
Together with husband Gary, they founded the highly successful Heathrow Aerobic Gymnastics Club in 1997. A testament to their coaching skills, they have had many club members selected to the GB National Squad every year, with their gymnasts being selected to represent Great Britain at World and European events. The club can boast over 20 British Champions in its roll of honour.
Between them they have helped countless gymnast’s source leotards and training kit, shoes and accessories that they require for their sport. Natalia has been designing unique custom leotards for years. It was therefore a natural progression for them to want to help other gymnasts.
